THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO GIVE
Get your hands dirty - or not!
Read on to learn how you can make a difference at Dimond Park.
We Couldn't do it Without Park Angels!
Make a difference in your neighborhood! Meet new people! Connect with and improve your community!
Volunteering is a great way to help Dimond Park continue to be a wonderful place to spend time. We need plant weeders and waterers, litter picker uppers, graffiti removers, photographers, fundraisers, PR people ("community outreachers") - and more!
FODP welcomes everyone. We have regular work days the 3rd Saturday of every month. Come by yourself, bring a friend, bring your extended family. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities that would benefit from your time and energy.
Volunteers are much needed to pick up litter, weed invasive plants, prune, and rake, rake, rake. Some volunteers like to work in groups, some enjoy solitary work. Some prefer weekends, others weekdays.
Contact us to sign up for opportunities to be a Park Angel at one of our work parties.
Donate or Become a Friend
Support the important work being done by Friends of Dimond Park. All donations to FODP go toward purchases that support our Mission, such as buying tools, plants/trees, and supplies, as well as pay for fees associated with online mail/hosting services.
As a not for profit organization under the umbrella of the Oakland Parks and Recreation Foundation, we can offer all the tax benefits of a 501(c)3 (Tax ID 94-2751052) so your gift is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
The suggested support levels are:
Individual Friend: $15/year
Family Friend: $25/year
Business Friend: $50/year
All support helps! FODP will gladly accept any amount that you can comfortably donate.
We can accept a one time gift or monthly contributions.
